Neptuna, a visionary project from the third year of Communication Design at Politecnico di Milano, delves into the pressing issues surrounding tuna production amidst climate change. Embracing the brand Neptuna, our initiative scrutinizes the complexities of consumption through snacks like the Rainbow Bar addressing microplastics, the Chroma Candy confronting mercury, and the Jumble Chips symbolizing accidental captures. Each snack serves as a poignant commentary on the ecological toll of our choices. The project challenges traditional tuna cans by introducing a vending machine experience deliberately designed to slow down users, offering a critical reflection on the true environmental costs associated with our everyday choices. Neptuna stands as a compelling exploration of the intersection between design, sustainability, and consumer awareness.
